How a phone case is actually made.

Most phone cases are produced anonymously at scale. Ours are made to order in our Vilnius studio, and the process is closer to publishing a small piece of art than manufacturing.

It starts with the artwork — every print is designed in-house, drawn and colour-calibrated over many iterations until it's right. When you order, the design is UV-printed onto a polycarbonate shell, the pigment cured and fused into the surface. The printed shell is paired with a shock-absorbing layer to form the dual-layer, drop-tested body, then cut precisely for your exact phone model — camera cutouts, buttons and ports aligned to the millimetre. Each case is checked before it ships.

Made-to-order matters for two reasons: it means we can offer the full catalogue across over a hundred phone models without warehousing thousands of units, and it means far less waste than mass production. It also means a real person handles your case rather than a machine pulling it from a bin. That's the trade-off for a few days' production time — and, we'd argue, entirely worth it.
