Are MagSafe cases worth it?
MagSafe is Apple's ring of magnets that lets accessories — chargers, wallets, stands — snap onto the back of a phone. The honest answer to whether you need it: it depends entirely on whether you use those accessories.
If you own a MagSafe charger, a magnetic wallet or a magnetic car mount, then yes, a MagSafe-compatible case makes daily life smoother — things click into place. If you don't, the magnets add cost and do nothing you'll notice. Crucially, MagSafe is not required for wireless charging. Any Qi wireless charger — including a MagSafe pad — will charge your phone through a slim case whether or not it has magnets; the magnets only add the physical snap, not the charging ability.
Every current Miarobi case already charges on any wireless pad, MagSafe pads included. What they don't yet have is the magnetic snap — and because that's now an expectation for many people, we're developing a dedicated MagSafe line (the engineering challenge is adding magnets without ruining the print depth or the slim profile). If that's what you're after, the waitlist hears first.
Do I need a MagSafe case for wireless charging?
No. Any Qi charger, including MagSafe pads, charges through a slim case. MagSafe magnets only add the snap for accessories.
Do Miarobi cases work with MagSafe chargers?
Yes, they charge on them. They don't magnetically snap yet — a dedicated MagSafe line is in development; join the waitlist for first access.
